APHIS to Allow Blackberries and Raspberries from Ecuador

Please be advised the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) published a final rule on April 8, 2016 in the Federal Register which amends the regulations and allows for the importation of fresh Andean blackberry (Rubus glaucus Benth) and raspberry fruit (Rubus idaeus Linnaeus) from Ecuador into the continental United States. The rule is effective May 9, 2016 and can be viewed here:
