New Treatment Schedule Available for Review and Comment – Figs from Chile

Dear valued customer,
USDA / APHIS / PPQ has finished evaluating the addition of a new fumigation treatment schedule T101-i-2-2 to treat figs from Chile. The new schedule reflects a slight modification of the treatment T101-i-2-1, which is currently required for Chilean figs to mitigate risk from false spider mite Brevipalpus chilensis.

As we move forward with the regulatory process, consultation is needed with stakeholder/industry. Please note that when this gets published in the Federal Register, it will be open for public comments so you will have another opportunity to provide feedback.
