PA Winter Storm Advisory Northeast Ports
Dear valued customer,
WINTER STORM ADVISORY FOR NORTHEAST PORTS
The most recent forecast shows snowfall accumulations of 6 – 9 inches falling mostly between 18:00 tonight and 09:00 tomorrow with wind gusts up to 35 mph and white out conditions expected. Based on a conference call with the terminal operators and the trucking community, most container terminal gates will close Thursday, January 2

If possible, please delay arrival at the Port until 10:00 Friday morning, except for personnel involved in snow clearing operations. The public roads in the Port will be open but snow removal operations are impacted by heavy traffic.

Do not plow snow from leasehold area onto roadways, rail tracks or into the channel.

Do not park employee vehicles or trailers on port roadways. VEHICLES PARKED ON PORT ROADWAYS ARE SUBJECT TO TOW AT OWNER’S EXPENSE.

Do not pile snow around, or in front of, fire hydrants or valve houses.

ExpressPort Plaza tenants – please park your company vehicles in the rear of your building after 8:00 p.m.
