Organic Labeling Restriction Reminder
As a reminder to all U.S. importers, any organic agricultural commodities that undergo fumigation can no longer be labeled for sale as “organic”. This includes any products that were treated by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Agricultural Specialists (CBPAS) at the port of entry when plant pests or diseases are detected.
